Presentations

This poetic walk connects two poets who do not know each other yet. We propose that they bring their writing worlds together and share with the audience what emerges from it. One lives in Belgium and has just released "tout dévale" (Chat polaire). The other lives on the other side of the Atlantic and has recently received the Émile-Nelligan Prize for her first poetry book "Le marché aux fleurs coupées" (La Peuplade). For 45 minutes, walk through the neighborhood in their company and with their poetry.

Anne Versailles

Anne Versailles, born in Brussels but drawn to the Alps, is a biogeographer turned artist. Since hiking the Alps in 2010 and creating an artist film of her journey, she has blended text, image, and sound as a walking artist, geo-poet, and "sound sculptor." Her work involves field recordings and geo-poetic compositions shared through sound installations and walks. She also incorporates poetry into her sonic creations.
