Sara Eelen

Sara Eelen (Antwerp, 1994) is a poet, essayist, video maker, and social worker. Her work has been published in De Groene Amsterdammer, Hard//Hoofd, Het Liegend Konijn, and Papieren Helden. Her video poem Slapen niet waken was nominated for the storytelling competition at the International Literature Festival Utrecht 2021 and selected for the Press RECORD Film Festival 2022. She has previously won awards at FRAPPANT TXT, the Babylon Interuniversity Literary Prize, and the Poëzieprijs Stad Harelbeke. Sara is one of the driving forces behind Klimaatdichters and Hart boven Hard.
